Lexus – Five Senses Media Event

About the Project

This project was part of a Lexus media experience designed to communicate the brand’s philosophy through a holistic, five-sense approach.
Rather than focusing solely on vehicles, the event framed Lexus as an experiential brand, where design is felt as much as it is seen.

The space brought together sound, light, fragrance, materiality, and motion to create an immersive environment that translated Lexus’ values into physical sensation.
Alongside the unveiling of new and concept vehicles, each element of the experience was carefully orchestrated to reflect how Lexus thinks about time, comfort, awareness, and emotional connection in motion.

Working under Kohki Yamaguchi, I was involved in capturing the event not as documentation, but as an atmosphere.
The focus was on how subtle details, transitions, and sensory cues shaped perception.
From adaptive lighting and tuned acoustics to tactile surfaces and ambient scent, the experience demonstrated how thoughtful design can transform a car interior into a responsive, living space.
