Orizuru
About the Project
In this project, Rintaro was tasked with shooting for Iwata Laboratory under Waseda University for Orizuru–the world's first robot that enables easy and seated echocardiographic examinations. Orizuru allows even disabled patients to receive heart ultrasound tests, with automatic body posture adjusting for optimal imaging.
For this project, Rintaro worked with Director Hiroshi Hashiguchi to make the shared creative vision come to life. The video was aimed to illustrate the prevailing issue of heart failure within society, and highlight the use of Orizuru, all within a compelling storyline and narrative.
The final video was displayed at the International Robot Exhibition 2023 held in Tokyo.
